Corrections & feedback

We handle a large amount of automatically-sourced financial data, and despite validation checks, errors do happen — upstream or on our side. Accuracy matters to us, so we make it easy to report a problem and we take corrections seriously.

How to report an error

1. Tell us what looks wrong

Use our contact page or email [email protected]. Include the page URL (or stock symbol), the figure or statement you believe is wrong, and — if you have it — the correct value and where it comes from (a filing, exchange page or news source). Screenshots help.

2. We investigate and fix

We check the report against our source data. If it is a genuine error on our side, we correct it. If the issue is with an upstream provider, we flag it to them and, where we can, apply a fix or a guard on our end. Systemic issues (a whole metric or pipeline) are prioritised over one-off data points.

3. Data pages show when they were updated

Many data pages carry an “as of” / last-updated timestamp so you can see how current a figure is. Because most of our data refreshes automatically on a schedule, a correction to source data typically propagates on the next refresh rather than requiring a manual edit.

What we can and can't fix

We can correct data that is wrong relative to its source, fix broken computations, and improve how a figure is presented. We cannot change what a company actually reported, restate historical exchange data, or guarantee that every third-party figure is free of upstream error. For decisions that matter, please cross-reference the company's official filings and the NSE/BSE websites.
