This page describes how research and content on DocStoX are produced, the standards we hold them to, and the boundaries we do not cross. Our goal is simple: give you inspectable, source-backed research — and be honest about its limits.

How our content is produced

Most of what you see on DocStoX is data-driven and generated programmatically: ratios, scores, screens, charts and verdicts are computed by deterministic formulas from underlying NSE, BSE, AMFI and aggregated-fundamentals data. Narrative research (such as our AI analyst DoXy and news summaries) is produced with the assistance of AI models reading that same structured data. Our full data-sourcing and computation approach is documented on the methodology page.

Our principles

AI-assisted, clearly labelled

AI helps summarise, score and explain data at scale. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or outdated, so we frame it as a research aid — never as advice — and always link back to the underlying data or source so you can verify it yourself.

Human oversight of the system

A human reviews and maintains the pipelines, formulas and prompts that generate content, and responds to reported errors. We are transparent that individual data points and AI-generated text are not each hand-checked by a person — the safeguard is the system, plus your ability to report mistakes.

Independence

Our rankings, scores and verdicts are generated by the same formulas for every stock. A company cannot pay to change its score, its ranking, or how it is described.

No paid placement

We do not accept payment to feature, promote or favourably rate any stock, and we do not publish sponsored stock tips. If we ever run advertising or affiliate links, they will be clearly disclosed and kept separate from research output.

Sourcing standards

  • Market and price data comes from the NSE and BSE; mutual-fund holdings from AMFI.
  • Fundamentals, shareholding, ratings and forecasts come from an established financial-data aggregator that re-packages exchange filings and screening sources.
  • Data passes automated validation before it is stored, and a health monitor watches for staleness with automatic source failover.
  • Where practical we link to the original source (filing, exchange page or news article) so you can confirm the primary record.
  • We label estimates, models and AI-generated text as such, and do not present them as verified fact.

Information, not investment advice

Corrections

If you spot an error, tell us — we take corrections seriously. See our corrections & feedback policy for how to report an issue and how we handle it.

Not investment advice

These lists are rules-based research, not buy recommendations. Rankings are generated from NSE & BSE data by a deterministic formula and do not account for your personal circumstances. For informational purposes only. Consult a SEBI-registered advisor before investing.
