Peer Comparison
A P/E of 30 tells you nothing on its own. Against rivals trading at 18 it becomes a question worth answering. Pick any NSE company to see it lined up against its real peers on valuation, profitability, growth and size — with the same numbers for every row, from the same filings.

How we choose the peers
Comparing a company to the wrong group is worse than not comparing it at all, so every peer table says which of these three rules produced it.
- 1
Curated competitor set
Where we hold a maintained competitor list for the company, that list wins. It is the tightest match — the handful of names the company genuinely trades against.
- 2
Same industry
With no curated list, we take every actively traded company in the same industry — the narrow classification, not the broad one.
- 3
Same sector
If that industry holds too few listed names to be meaningful, we widen to the sector. Broader, and labelled as such so you can discount it.
Peer tables are capped at 16 companies, ordered by market cap, and always include the company you started from. Fundamentals come from the latest annual filing we hold per company, so a peer that has not reported recently can lag the rest of the table.
