Foreign investors sold ₹943 crore of Indian equities while domestic institutions bought ₹2,883 crore. Domestic flows more than offset the foreign side.

Foreign flows reversed from the previous session (4 August 2026), when FIIs were net buyers of ₹2,446 crore.

Over five sessions foreign investors are net buyers of ₹6,326 crore, and over thirty sellers of ₹8,720 crore.

Year to date, foreign institutional flows stand at a net outflow of ₹3.24 lakh crore.
