Foreign investors sold ₹2,535 crore of Indian equities while domestic institutions bought ₹5,101 crore. Domestic flows more than offset the foreign side.

Foreign flows reversed from the previous session (14 August 2026), when FIIs were net buyers of ₹508 crore.

Over five sessions foreign investors are net sellers of ₹3,282 crore, and over thirty sellers of ₹4,344 crore.

Year to date, foreign institutional flows stand at a net outflow of ₹3.25 lakh crore.
