Foreign investors sold ₹583 crore of Indian equities while domestic institutions bought ₹3,538 crore. Domestic flows more than offset the foreign side.

Foreign flows reversed from the previous session (19 August 2026), when FIIs were net buyers of ₹408 crore.

Over five sessions foreign investors are net sellers of ₹551 crore, and over thirty sellers of ₹4,691 crore.

Year to date, foreign institutional flows stand at a net outflow of ₹3.24 lakh crore.
