Foreign investors sold ₹298 crore of Indian equities while domestic institutions bought ₹4,977 crore. Domestic flows more than offset the foreign side.

Foreign flows reversed from the previous session (26 August 2026), when FIIs were net buyers of ₹503 crore.

Over five sessions foreign investors are net buyers of ₹2,437 crore, and over thirty buyers of ₹3,885 crore.

Year to date, foreign institutional flows stand at a net outflow of ₹3.21 lakh crore.
