Foreign investors sold ₹7,986 crore of Indian equities while domestic institutions bought ₹4,589 crore. Domestic flows offset only part of the foreign side.
That extends the previous session's net selling of ₹5,040 crore.
Over five sessions foreign investors are net sellers of ₹11,228 crore, and over thirty sellers of ₹7,643 crore.
Year to date, foreign institutional flows stand at a net outflow of ₹3.34 lakh crore.
