Foreign investors sold ₹2,978 crore of Indian equities while domestic institutions bought ₹2,686 crore. Domestic flows offset only part of the foreign side.
That extends the previous session's net selling of ₹931 crore.
Over five sessions foreign investors are net sellers of ₹5,053 crore, and over thirty sellers of ₹10,853 crore.
Year to date, foreign institutional flows stand at a net outflow of ₹3.37 lakh crore.
