DGFT to set up central unit for trade applications

The government is establishing a Central Processing Department within the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. This new unit will centralize the processing of all trade-related applications. Faceless trade facilitation aims for paperless and jurisdiction-free processing of applications. This initiative will enhance transparency and reduce processing times for businesses. The department will be located in the central licensing area in Delhi.
