From October 15, UPI payments over ₹2,000 for fuel, railway tickets, and other services will incur a flat MDR of ₹5, as announced by NPCI. Meanwhile, for P2M transactions above ₹2,000 outside the specified categories, NPCI has introduced a 0.4% MDR.
