TCS Breaks the Slump — But FIIs Aren't Buying the Rebound

A TCS-led rally snapped an eight-week losing streak, powered entirely by domestic money. Foreign investors sold for a fifth straight session, even on a day the index surged over one percent.

Nifty closed at 22314.95 after its sharpest single-day surge in weeks, gaining roughly 1.30% as TCS Q2 earnings broke an eight-week rut. Every major sector finished in the green. Banks led the charge — NIFTY BANK posted 13 advances to just 1 decline. This was a relief rally with teeth, not a feeble bounce.
