Connect Claude
Add DocStoX to Claude on the web, desktop or mobile as a custom connector, and sign in.
On this page
This works for claude.ai and the Claude desktop app, on every Claude plan. Free plans can add one custom connector.
Open Connectors
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
Add DocStoX
Select +, then Add custom connector. Name it DocStoX and paste the server URL below. Leave Advanced settings empty, then click Add.
Remote MCP server URL https://mcp.docstox.com/mcpConnect and sign in
Click Connect. Claude opens a docstox.com page.
Approve the connection
Sign in with Google or your DocStoX email and password if you are not already signed in. DocStoX shows what the connection can do: look up stocks, fundamentals, screens and market data, and read your DocStoX portfolio and watchlists. It cannot trade, change your account, or see your password. Click Allow.
Turn it on in a chat
Open the + menu, then Connectors, and check DocStoX is switched on.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds the connector first in Organization settings, then Connectors. Members then click Connect and sign in the same way.
Ask a question
Once DocStoX is on, ask in plain English. For example: "Which Nifty 50 stocks fell the most today, and what news was behind the moves?" Claude picks the tools it needs; you never call one by name.
Directory listing
Claude also has a connector directory where adding DocStoX would take one click. That listing is in review. Until it opens, the custom connector steps above are the way to connect.
If something goes wrong
See Troubleshooting MCP for blocked sign-in windows, a revoked connection, or a quota message.
