A tour of the app

Where everything lives: the top bar, the More menu, your data, DoXy, and the phone layout.

Updated 1 October 2026Open in DocStoX
On this page

DocStoX uses the same set of destinations everywhere: the top bar on a wide screen, a scrolling strip and a menu on a phone. This page is a map of where things live.

The top bar

Five links sit directly on the bar, in a fixed order: Discover, News, Newsletter, Screener and Research. Screener and Research also carry the AI equity research and screening tools, so they never move into a menu even on a narrow screen.

Next to them, Watchlist and Portfolio are always visible too. They work signed out (you get a sign-in prompt when you try to use them), so DocStoX shows the links either way rather than hiding that the features exist.

As the window narrows, lower-priority links (Watchlist, Portfolio, Discover, Newsletter, and further down Tracking and Alerts) move into the More menu before they run out of room. Nothing becomes unreachable, it just takes one more click.

The More menu

More opens one menu with five columns:

ColumnWhat is in it
MarketsIPOs, Markets, Indices, Sectors, Themes, Market Movers
Smart MoneyBulk & Block Deals, Insider Trades, Superinvestors, FII/DII Flows, Mutual Funds, Arena
ResearchScreener, Breakout Setups, Stock Screens, Compare Stocks, Valuation, Technicals, Peer Comparison, F&O Terminal
IntelligenceNews, Market Ripples, Results Calendar, Corporate Actions, Market Calendar
LearnLearn, Financial Ratios, Calculators, Fair Value Method, Browse Everything

Markets answers "how is the market doing"; Smart Money answers "who is buying or selling". If a link moved out of the top bar because the window narrowed (for example Watchlist or Portfolio), it appears in the same menu as an extra column while it is hidden from the bar.

Ask DoXy, search and your account

  • Search opens the same command palette as Ctrl K (Cmd K on a Mac). See Search and keyboard shortcuts.
  • Ask DoXy takes you straight to Research, DocStoX's AI analyst.
  • The bell (signed in only) opens your notifications.
  • The theme toggle switches between light and dark.
  • Your avatar opens the account menu: Profile & settings, Usage & limits, Tokens & connections (your MCP API keys and connected AI apps), Plans & billing, then Docs, Help & Tutorials and Developers, and Sign out.

On your phone

There is no top bar of links on a phone. Instead:

  • A hamburger button next to the logo opens a drawer with every section and every destination, listed under the same headings as the More menu above.
  • A floating strip along the bottom carries the destinations you reach most: Home, Ask DoXy, the five top-bar links, Watchlist, Portfolio and the rest of your personal links, as icon and label pills. Swipe it sideways for the ones that do not fit, and the active page's pill scrolls into view on its own.
  • Press and hold a pill that has related pages (for example Discover, News, Screener, Watchlist or Portfolio) to pop up a short list of pages next to it, without opening the drawer.

Replay a product tour

Help & Tutorials, in the account menu, lists the guided tours DocStoX offers: getting started, stock research, DoXy, Screener, Portfolio, Watchlist, MCP and research credits. Open one from there any time to replay it, whether or not you have seen it before.
