Your morning brief

A brief built from your own positions each morning, and how it differs from the newsletter.

Your DocStoX Brief, at /brief, is built from what you own, what you follow and what you have recently researched. Where the Newsletter covers the whole market, your Brief covers only what is yours.

What is in it

The Brief is made of up to six lines, in this order:

  • Portfolio: what changed in the stocks you hold.
  • Watchlist: watchlist stocks that moved materially.
  • Screener: new matches on the screens you have saved and set an alert on.
  • Earnings: upcoming results that matter for what you own.
  • Research: changes in DocStoX's own view of stocks you have researched recently.
  • Market: broader signals worth knowing about today.

Every figure in the Brief is a real count of items DocStoX is already holding for you: nothing is estimated or rounded up to make a line feel more active. On a day nothing changed, the Brief tells you what the market did instead of showing an empty page.

When it is built

Your Brief is composed once a day and cached for you, so opening it twice in a day shows the same brief. You can force a fresh read at any time with the refresh control on the page.

Free and Pro

A Free account sees every line's count, which is proof the Brief ran for them, plus the single most important item on each line. Pro sees every item on every line.
