Watchlists

Keep the stocks you are following in lists, scan them at a glance, and check watchlist health.

A watchlist is a list of stocks you are following, separate from your portfolio. Open it from Watchlist in the top navigation.

Creating and managing lists

DocStoX sets up a default watchlist the first time you add a stock. You can create more, rename them, and remove stocks from any of them.

  • Free: up to 2 watchlists, each holding up to 15 stocks.
  • Pro: up to 10 watchlists, each holding up to 100 stocks.

Add a stock from a stock page (the watch button), from search, or directly on the watchlist page. Remove one from the row's own control.

The table

Each row shows the symbol, price, day change, today's range, volume, 52-week range, P/E and market cap, plus any note you have added against that stock. On a narrower screen, the less essential columns hide first so symbol, price and change always stay visible.

You can also see recent news, corporate actions and any alerts tied to the stocks on your list from the watchlist page.

Watchlist Health Pro

Watchlist Health reads every stock on your watchlists and tells you what changed since you last looked, rather than making you scan the table row by row. Every stock is classified into one of four states:

  • Improving: DocStoX's score for the stock moved up materially, or its verdict moved up.
  • Weakening: the score moved down materially.
  • Require attention: something happened today that you would want to know, such as a filing or a sharp move in ownership, stated in one line.
  • Unchanged: nothing material moved, including stocks DocStoX has no history to compare against yet.

A stock that needs attention is shown ahead of one that is merely weakening or improving, because it is the thing you could not already see from the price column.

Free accounts see the full counts across all four states, plus the single most important item. The counts are never hidden or trimmed; only the full row-by-row detail requires Pro.
