Results, corporate actions and calendars
Upcoming results, dividends, splits, bonuses and other dated market events.
On this page
DocStoX keeps three date-based timelines of what is coming up in the market: results, corporate actions, and a combined calendar that merges both with IPO dates.
Results
/results is a day-by-day timeline of upcoming company results, sourced from the board-meeting intimations companies file with NSE. A date on this calendar is the day a company's board meets to approve its results, which is also the day results are announced, not an estimate of when the quarter's numbers will be good or bad.
Busier days, such as during results season, show a higher company count so you can see where the calendar clusters. You can filter to a shorter or longer window and browse forward through the timeline.
Corporate actions
/corporate-actions lists dividends, stock splits, bonus issues, rights issues and buybacks, grouped by ex-date. You can filter by action type.
- The ex-date is the first day a stock trades without the entitlement attached. Buy on or after the ex-date and you do not receive that dividend, bonus or rights entitlement; buy before it and you do.
- The record date is the date a company uses to check its register of shareholders to decide who is entitled to the action. Under India's rolling T+1 settlement, the ex-date and the record date normally fall on the same day.
Market calendar
/calendar merges all three dated surfaces, results dates, corporate-action ex-dates, and IPO open, close and listing windows, into a single chronological timeline. It does not replace the dedicated pages; each event links back to the fuller view on its own page. If one of the three underlying feeds is unavailable, the calendar says so rather than showing a blank page.
