The search palette

Press Ctrl K on Windows or Cmd K on a Mac, anywhere in DocStoX, to open the search palette. On a phone or tablet, tap the search icon in the top bar instead.

The palette searches two things at once as you type:

  • Stocks, matched on symbol or company name.
  • Pages, matched on the page's name, such as "Screener" or "Portfolio". Only pages you can actually open are shown: admin-only pages stay hidden from everyone else, and a signed-in-only page is hidden while you are signed out.

Before you type anything, the palette shows your recent searches instead, each with today's price move and how the stock has moved since you last searched it.

The search results page

Typing a query into the address bar as /search?q=your-term, or using your browser's own search box integration, opens a full results page. It matches a stock's symbol, its company name, or an exact ISIN.
