Your dashboard
The dashboard after you sign in: the session at a glance, breadth, movers and your own snapshot.
On this page
The dashboard is what opens when you go to /dashboard: a single page that reads like the front page of a newspaper for today's session, followed by everything else the market did.
The ticker rail
A strip at the top of the page, sticky as you scroll, showing the Nifty 50, Sensex and Bank Nifty, market breadth, FII and DII flows, and India VIX, with a countdown to the market's open or close.
My market
A column of your own data (portfolio value and today's profit and loss, your watchlist, active price alerts and shortcuts into DoXy) that stays in view on the right while the rest of the page scrolls. If you are signed out, this column invites you to sign in instead of showing an empty version of itself. If you have nothing in a section, for example no watchlist yet, that section does not appear at all rather than showing an empty box.
The session
The opening block of the page reads like a front page: the day's dateline and session clock, an AI-written brief on the day with a mood word, and a Nifty panel with a chart you can scrub and where today's P/E sits against its recent range. Below it, a board of everything moving around the Indian session: GIFT Nifty, overseas indices, MCX gold, silver and crude, the rupee, and US bond yields, each shown with its own unit and a day-range bar.
Chapter 01: the crowd
- Market map: the whole index (Nifty 500 by default, switchable) as a grid of rectangles grouped by sector. The size of a rectangle is the company's market cap, or its traded value for the day when you switch the toggle. The colour is its change for the day. Hovering a stock highlights its sector and dims the rest.
- Day shape: two views of the same question, "was today a good day". On the left, every index member's move bucketed into a distribution, with a marker for the cap-weighted move (what the index shows) and a separate marker for the median stock (what a typical holding did): when the two markers separate, a handful of large stocks are carrying or dragging the whole index. On the right, breadth down the market-cap curve across the Nifty 50, Next 50, Midcap 150 and Smallcap 250, so you can see whether strength or weakness is confined to the largest stocks or runs through the whole market.
Chapter 02: the extremes
- Movers board: the day's biggest gainers and losers on one shared scale, pulling left and right from a common centre, so you can see at a glance whether the worst loser fell further than the best gainer rose. Alongside it, where the money actually traded: the largest traded values for the day, each with its share of the whole index's turnover, so a large price move on thin volume reads differently from the same move on heavy turnover.
- Reasoned moves: big movers that have a news story or filing behind them. A stock with no linked story is left out of this list rather than shown with an invented reason.
Chapter 03: the days ahead
- Days ahead: the next two weeks as one timeline, merging board meetings for results, ex-dates for dividends, bonuses and splits, and IPO open, close and listing dates into a single view.
- News wire: the day's stories, with a lead story and summary alongside a list of further headlines. Each headline carries its sentiment as a direction mark and, where high enough to be meaningful, an impact score.
What updates live and what is end of day
The ticker rail and the world board (GIFT Nifty, global indices and commodities) refresh through the day; the world board is built from the Global markets board feed, which refreshes about once a minute during trading hours. The market map, day shape, movers and the reasoned moves list are computed from the day's trading and settle once the session's data is complete. DoXy's market brief and its mood word are generated for the day, not on every page load.
