Create an account and sign in

Sign up with email or Google, verify your email, and get back in if you forget your password.

You can create a DocStoX account with an email and password, or with Google. Both are on the same Create your account and Sign in screens, and both start you on the Free plan immediately. No card is asked for.

Sign up with email

  1. Fill in the form

On /signup, enter your first name, last name, a username and an email address. The username is your public handle (3 to 20 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and underscores), shown as @yourhandle. DocStoX checks whether it is available as you type.

  2. Choose a password

Your password needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number. The form shows which of these you still need to add.

  3. Verify your email

After you submit, DocStoX does not sign you in yet. It emails a 6-digit code to the address you gave and shows a code entry screen. Enter the code to verify your email and start your session. The code expires after a few minutes; if it does, use Send a new code on the same screen.

You cannot use a password account until its email is verified. If you try to sign in before verifying, DocStoX sends a fresh code and shows the same code entry screen instead of an error.

I never got the code

Check your spam folder first. If you already have a DocStoX account under that email, no code is sent, because DocStoX does not confirm or deny that an address is registered, and the fix is to sign in with your password instead. If you are sure the address is new and correct, wait for the resend timer and request a new code.

Sign up or sign in with Google

Select Sign up with Google (or Sign in with Google) on the same screen. Google confirms your identity, so a Google account skips email verification entirely. You can add a password later from your profile, which also lets you sign in with email afterwards.

Forgot your password

On /login, select Forgot password? and enter your email or username. If an account exists for it, DocStoX emails a reset link. The link opens a page where you set a new password (the same 8-character, uppercase, lowercase, number rule applies); setting it signs you straight in.

What you get on sign-up

Every new account starts on the Free plan: stock pages, the full screener, news, market flows, IPO tracking, your own portfolio and watchlist, and a daily allowance of research credits for DoXy. See Free and Pro for the full comparison.

Signing in from an AI assistant

If you are connecting DocStoX to Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client, sign-in happens on a docstox.com page inside that flow. See MCP overview for how that works; it uses the same email/Google accounts described here.
