Markets, indices and movers
Index levels, market breadth, top gainers and losers, and the market map.
On this page
/market is a hub of live, crawlable pages that answer "what is the Indian market doing today": top gainers, top losers, most active stocks by volume and by value, 52-week highs, 52-week lows, and FII/DII institutional flows. Each is its own page you can open directly, without signing in.
Market event pages
Each page under /market/<event> ranks the market live from that event's own data, for example /market/gainers or /market/52-week-high. A page explains the concept it covers in plain English (what counts as a top gainer, what a 52-week high means), how to read the list, and what to watch for before reading too much into it, alongside the table itself.
Dated archive pages
Some event pages also have a permanent page per past trading session, at /market/<event>/<date>. Once a session settles, that day's list becomes a fixed page describing what actually happened that day, rather than being overwritten by the next day's numbers. This archive only covers events that can be answered honestly for a past date: 52-week highs and lows are not part of it, because reconstructing a rolling one-year window as of a past date is a different calculation from ranking that day's change.
Indices
/indices lists the broad NSE market-cap indices DocStoX publishes constituent pages for: Nifty 50, Nifty Next 50, Bank Nifty, Nifty 100, Nifty 200, Nifty 500, Nifty Midcap 150 and Nifty Smallcap 250. Sectoral Nifty indices such as Pharma or Auto are not covered here; that ground is covered instead by the sector pages.
Opening an index shows its full constituent list with live price and day change, and explains what the index is and how it is weighted. Because these indices weight constituents by free-float market capitalisation, the level can be driven by a handful of the largest names rather than by the average stock in it. Being a constituent is a size-and-liquidity outcome, not a quality rating.
