Coverage
Which instruments DocStoX covers, how far back the history goes, and what is not covered.
What is covered
DocStoX covers 5,700+ stocks listed on the NSE and BSE, with prices, financials, shareholding, corporate actions, news and technicals for each one. Index options, FII/DII flows, IPOs and the global markets board round out what the platform tracks, all for the Indian market.
What is not covered
- Stocks and markets outside India. US and other international markets are not covered.
- Mutual fund NAV history. DocStoX shows mutual fund shareholding in companies (which schemes own how much of a stock), not fund-level NAV performance history.
Price history
Daily price history is usable from 2020 onward across a broad set of listed companies. Earlier years exist in the data but cover very few symbols and are too thin to rely on for a multi-year chart or a screen. 2020 itself is thinner and more volatile than later years, since it spans the COVID-19 market disruption. Coverage broadens year over year as more companies list and as data quality improves, so a five-year chart today has more names behind it than the same chart would have shown a few years ago.
Financials
Company financials go back up to ten years, where the company has reported for that long. A recently listed company naturally has a shorter history: its financials on DocStoX start when its own reporting does.
